• Why Should I get Baptized?

We believe in the importance of baptism. It symbolizes a believer's commitment to Jesus and His teachings, and is an outward act of confessing our faith in Him.

We believe that baptism is essential to Christian discipleship, and it is a beautiful way to proclaim our allegiance to Jesus.

  • Is Baptism Required for Salvation?

Although baptism is not required for salvation, it is commanded of all believers and is for believers only.

    Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38, 41; Acts 18:18

Scripture shows that a person was baptized after personally receiving forgiveness of sin through accepting Jesus Christ.

  • Do You Practice Water Baptism?

Yes, we believe that Christian baptism by immersion in water is a public identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

It symbolizes the newness of life that happens when we become a new creation in Christ.

    Colossians 2:12; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 6:1-4

  • Do You Do Infant Baptisms?

We do not do infant baptisms, we do infant and child dedications. In Scripture there is an example of dedicating children to the Lord.

In 1 Samuel 1:11, 26-28, Hannah vowed to dedicate her child to the Lord if He would grant her one.

The Lord honored her request and she kept her vow, dedicating Samuel to the Lord.

“...then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life.” 1 Samuel 1:11

  • Will I Have to Speak in Front of Everyone?

We love to hear testimonies of God changing lives!

We understand that public speaking can be a hindrance for some.

We now provide the option for someone to schedule a time with our Worship Director to record their testimony on video ahead of time for us to play during service.

  • How Often Do You Have Baptisms?

    As often as it’s needed!

We always have at least one baptism service every year, but as people ask to be baptized, we are thrilled to plan more!
